Site News and Updates, Brief Version - 26th July 2014

I'm way overdue in updating here, sorry. Mainly just wanted to update real quick this weekend to remove ClickOrSignup from the active programs lists, as the site appears to now be gone.

Not sure about CashPirate right now as the site appears to be inaccessible, but maybe it's just one of those temporary things. We'll see.

Clicksia and Incentria Have Closed

Hi there! Been a while, but until now I really didn't have anything newsworthy or any new sites to post about.

I did, however, discover yesterday that longtime established PTC site Clicksia, and its sister site Incentria, had been shut down effective immediately, apparently due to some chronic serious health problems of the owner as well as lack of profitability of the sites for some time. That's what's been reported, anyway.

I have since moved them both to the "Closed Programs" section of the site.

So I just wanted to post that news up, and have another post cooking as well, so I'm not through for today quite yet. Stay tuned!

Site Update - April 2013

(UPDATED 28 April 2014)

Hi there. My apologies for not having updated the site in a while - I have been incredibly busy since the last update in August.

That said, I have just updated the Quick List pretty thoroughly, with the exception of adding payment proofs of payments since August 2013. There's quite a large number of them to be added (as well as updating the "Been Paid" amounts earned for a large number of sites) - eight months' worth! - so that part's going to take a while longer, but hopefully very soon.

In any case, for the most recently updated info regarding what sites I'm still working these days, head on over to the Quick List. I've done quite a bit of "housecleaning" over there today, as well as adding a few new sites to the PTC section.

I'll be back as soon as I can to upload some payment proofs and update payment amount info on several sites, probably within the next few weeks.

In the meantime, feel free to check out this PTC site that opened in December 2013, Legacyclix. It is run by reputable, reliable and honest owners in the traffic exchange industry (and who also happen to be good friends and colleagues of mine) and has been steadily growing since it opened.

While there has been a lot of upheaval in the PTC arena of late, these owners are even more committed in the face of all that upheaval to running their sites honestly and for the long term, and are well worth checking out, and the time and effort. I'll be posting some more detailed "Spotlight On" info on both here very soon (the main details are already posted over on the Quick List).

Site Updates: Global Test Market (correction), MatrixMails & Traffic Wave Profits (deletions)

Hi there! Just a few notes (and a correction/clarification) on some changes I've made here and on the Quick List over the weekend.

I previously reported that Global Test Market had lowered their minimum cashout, with their recent addition of PayPal and other new payment options (instead of as it was previously, by check only), from $50 (1000 points) to $10 (230 points). One would have assumed that was the case when the PayPal addition was made and the addition of payment options as low as $10, especially since that's more along the lines of how their competitors in the survey site industry operate.

I have since found out that what I reported was incorrect - Global Test Market's minimum cashout is still $50 (1000 points), but you now have the large variety of payment options including PayPal. I'm not quite sure why they made the addition of PayPal and other options, and things like offering $10 via PayPal for 230 points, if they were going to still require a cashout at $50 and 1000 points. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Still, adding PayPal as a payment option (as well as the many others they've added) is a great improvement, GTM is one of my favorite survey sites as many surveys I've gotten have been interesting and pretty lucrative, and even with the $50 minimum cashout, I was able to cashout in only a matter of months once I got diligent about doing surveys again. So, a good thing all around (but it'd still be nicer and more in line with their survey site competition if they lowered the minimum cashout).

In other news, I made the difficult decision to remove MatrixMails as an active site. It's been pretty much dead since late 2011 and really all but closed entirely, as it's been completely inactive for months. My balance hasn't moved in nearly a year, there have been no ads on the site in that long or more, there's been no news posted since November 2011 on the site, and their Paid to Read mail section has been inaccessible for at least six months or more.

I hate to remove it, as it was one of the best sites around for nearly a decade and was reliable and paying, and was one of my best paying sites for years. All things considered, though, I feel have no choice but to refrain from promoting it further.

I have also removed Traffic Wave Profits from the Quick List, as it appears to be dead as well. The site hasn't been accessible at all in at least six months, if not more. I've also removed (at least for now) Marketing Pond and Viral Pond - somewhat puzzlingly, both sites are now showing domain holding pages, VP for nearly a month now. Very puzzling, and I hope nothing bad has happened to the sites' admin. MP used to be extremely active.

Fortunately the majority of active sites on the list appear to still be highly active, reliably paying, and just booming, especially the PTC sites (like the brand new Nerdbux) and PTR sites! And all of the survey sites I have kept in my stable to work on, including Global Test Market, are continuing to send survey invites regularly and have been increasing my balances regularly, at least as long as I continue to be diligent about checking my email for invites regularly.

Just an Additional Note About SurveySavvy

Hi there. Life's been a little turned upside down the last few weeks and busy, busy, busy since the beginning of the month, so I've not really had a chance to post stuff 'til now.

Today I mainly just wanted to drop a note sort of as an addendum to my post last month regarding SurveySavvy, when I received my first payment from them. I have mostly been saying all along that their surveys are usually $1 or $2 - and they usually are, for the most part - and this isn't exactly a correction since what I've usually said about them is "$1 or $2, and other surveys in varying amounts".

I mainly wanted to revisit what I said before, because just in the past month I've received two or three invitations from SurveySavvy for $15 surveys!

As I mentioned before, I initially signed up with the site pretty much right before the long period when I got too busy with offline work to be able to properly focus on most of the online money stuff, so I think I really just didn't realize some survey invitations might be that high an amount. For all I know, really, there may be some even higher!

Anyway, that was kind of a pleasant surprise. I didn't qualify for any of the $15 ones I got invitations to, but a lot of other people certainly would have... I somewhat unfortunately (for me) have a relative that works a particular industry that winds up disqualifying me from many surveys on a regular basis (I'm kinda hoping they will retire early, lol, so I can answer "no" truthfully and not keep getting disqualified on some surveys). Luckily I don't get disqualified from all or even the majority of surveys I receive invitations for, but that relative's career does disqualify me from some.

In any case, I just wanted to clarify that, that SurveySavvy does indeed send out invites to some that are at least up to $15. Granted, the overwhelming majority I see are usually $1, $2, and the occasional $5, but it was nice to see some really high-paying survey invites from them cross my desk recently.

LinkGrand Now Offering Paid E-mails

If you're already a member of LinkGrand then you're likely already aware of this, but LinkGrand is now offering paid e-mails, which is great.

Paid e-mails are probably just about my favorite way to earn, since when life is busy otherwise it's still pretty easy to keep earning just by managing the paid mail that comes your way. There have been several periods for me over the years where I've really been too busy and swamped to keep up properly with PTC and surveys and other such stuff, but I could still usually manage to get thru the paid e-mails at least once a week or so and still make some money here and there.

I just received my first paid mail from LinkGrand this week and it contained five or six links, which was terrific, and as soon as you click and read, you earn. I think (not positive, but think so) that you earn the same amount per click in email as you do when you're doing PTC on the LinkGrand site.

While their pay per click rate is a little lower than some of their peers, there are usually always plenty of PTC opportunities on the site (especially if you're upgraded) and if this first paid mail is any indication of how mail clicks per day are going to generally go, then even better! Since their cashout level is only $5 (and they usually pay very quickly, at least within 48 hours), it doesn't take forever to reach cashout even with the bit lower click pay.

There are a lot of great things to love about LinkGrand and now offering paid e-mails is just yet another big positive for them as far as I'm concerned. Awesome! (PS: If you are already a member, you'll need to go into your account section while on the site and set your settings to receive the paid mails.)

Site Updates, Part 2

Hello again! As mentioned the other day, I wanted to post a brief-ish summary of all the changes and updates I was able to find on the sites I'm still actively working (although it won't be all that brief because there have been a LOT of changes in the last couple of years since I last did many major updates), as well a basic summary of all the sites I've kept active in general.

From having around 100 or more sites at one time a few years ago that I was actively working, I've now whittled my active sites down to around 37-38 PTC/GPT/PTR and other sites, plus 11 legitimate survey programs that pay and are free to join. (PS don't ever pay money to sign up for a survey program, those are total scams.)

Anything that's still here has stood the test of time and has proven to be worthwhile, and most have paid me (and often many times). What few on this list I don't spend a lot of active time on, I know have been worthwhile and well-liked for people I know.

These are all changes since the last couple of years or so. (If I'm missing any important changes/updates, I just overlooked it/them, but here are the major ones I found while looking around, if there were any.)

Here goes, in ABC order...

AdPaid - Still very active. Changes: No longer has eGold as a payment option. No other big changes that I found.

Bank Roll Bucks - Reopened in 2011 (yay!), my favorite GPT ever AND one of my all time best paying sites. Watch for a complete update/new post very soon.

Big Crumbs - Still pays me from time to time. No major changes that I found.

BuxP - Still pretty active. Lowered their cashout minimum from $7.99 to $6.99 a while back. Now offers instant payments via PayPal and Payza once you've made your first standard cashout (i.e., first cashout pays within 30 days). No longer has a signup bonus.

CashCrate - Still seems to be pretty active with a large amount of offers. This has admittedly never been one of my favorite sites personally (they changed from a $10 to $20 cashout minimum several years ago, which I never understood) but a lot of people seem to love this one. No major changes that I found.

Cash Pirate - Appears to be pretty active still and I've grown to like this one a lot for a variety of reasons. They now have a $1 minimum cashout and offer instant payments via PayPal or weekly via Amazon, or a $10 cashout for Walmart or eBay gift cards/certificates (both paid daily). I do not think they have paid emails anymore (but I could be wrong about that).

CashTextAds - No changes that I found.

Click Or Signup - Payment methods & levels are now $1 minimum cashout via PayPal, $5 via Amazon GC, or $10 via Walmart GC or by check. Referral levels were changed to one level only (25%).

Clicksia - Still seems pretty active. No changes that I found.

ClixSense - VERY active still, and there's been so many changes and additions since I last truly updated info on it, I'm just going to have to make a new post 'cos there's tons to tell. Look for that next week probably, but put it this way, I am EXTREMELY happy with ClixSense at present ;)

DealBarbiePays - Seems to remain pretty active and still a site I'm fond of and have a great deal of respect for the admin, who has been a longstanding member and active in the GPT community for some time. That all said, there have been a lot of changes to its terms that are rather complicated and may be confusing to some, and I became so crosseyed trying to suss out the changes on site I'm not even sure I got it right, but the changes appear to be as follows: Cashout minimum is now $5 for anyone who joined after 1/1/2011; anyone who joined before that can cash out at $5 dependent on the amount of offers done, otherwise it's still $20 as before. Payment methods now available include PayPal, Payza, check, gift card/certificates, and a host of others, and payments are made within 24 hours of request. Referral levels have changed to two levels of 10% and 5%.

Deals 'n' Cash - Still great, active as usual, and no real changes that I found.

Dollar Click or Signup - The site no longer has PayPal available as a payment method. Payment is available now via Payza, Liberty Reserve, Entropay, Moneybookers, still with $1 minimum cashout and instant payments available. Gift card/certificate payments are also available ($5 and $10 for Amazon, $10 and $15 for Walmart). (I have some other additional note written down about DCOS that I can't read, maybe I'll remember what it was later!).

DonkeyMails - Still active as it always has been, with lots of paid mails daily and other stuff. Cashout minimum is now $1 via PayPal or Payza, or $0.10 (ten cents) via Liberty Reserve, no longer has other payment methods.

EarnEasyCash - Minimum cashout is now $0.90 (ninety cents) via PayPal or $1.01 via Payza. No longer has a signup bonus.

FusionCash - No changes that I found. Admittedly I don't do much with this site and mainly keep my account active because it's included in several referral programs I'm active in, but some other people do seem to like this one a lot.

Gazelle - No changes that I found.

Global Cash Clicks - Still tons of PTC ads all the time here. Has changed to Payza payments only since last update.

Global Team Club - No changes that I found, other than they've added some sites to their program list over the last couple of years.

Gomez PEER - Still active if you get activated, still paying. I still love this thing. The only reason I haven't been getting paid every other month or two like I was for a while is because I don't always let it run 24/7 like I used to. No big major changes that I'm aware of.

Hits4Pay - Continues to be great and active as usual, and is about to pay me again next month (yay). No changes that I found.

InboxDollars - Still active with lots of paid emails weekly, no changes that I found.

Incentria - Seems to still be pretty active, no changes that I found.

JillsClickCorner - Still has tons of PTC ads, offers, PTS ads, and more and seems to remain pretty active. Cashout and payment methods are now $1 via PayPal, $1.06 via Payza, and ranging from $0.10 (ten cents) to $1 for others - and there are a ton of additional payment methods available on the site now (too many to list here), including Liberty Reserve.

LinkGrand - Still super active, paid me again not all that long ago, always been a great site. No major changes that I found.

Marketing Pond - No major changes to the program list that I noted, no other changes found. Remains an excellent all-in-one referral builder for many favorite PTC/PTR/GPT programs and others.

MatrixMails - Sigh. I don't really know what to say about Matrix, and I should probably just go ahead and shuffle it off to the closed/inactive site section but it was such a fantastic site for so many years and one of my favorites, I just haven't been ready to take that last step yet and totally give up hope that it will ever bounce back. They lost their PayPal account almost a year and a half ago now and while there was still a very small amount of activity last year, the site has gone all but dead with no PTC ads and relatively recently they apparently lost their access to their on-site paid email program. They were one of my highest-paying sites (over $130) and it has been disappointing to see it decline as it has. In short, for now anyway, I DO NOT RECOMMEND JOINING AT THIS TIME. Will update if something changes, but it probably won't.

MyPoints - Still going strong, no huge changes I noted. This is especially an excellent site to be able to convert your points to get magazine subscriptions, restaurant and shopping deals, and such.

No-Minimum - Still active as usual, with lots of paid emails daily plus other stuff. Payment is now via PayPal, Payza, or Liberty Reserve, with $1 minimum cashout. Usually pays weekly.

PaidTheFastest - Appears to still be very active. I believe there is no more activity bonus or PTC. Payment is now $1 minimum via instant PayPal payments, or $5 via Amazon GC (weekly).

QuickRewards - I'm not really sure how truly active this site is anymore, but it may still be. No changes that I found.

SendEarnings - Still active with lots of paid mails weekly. No changes that I found.

SquishyCash - Appears to still be very active. There's been quite a bit of change with payments/methods; payment is now via PayPal, check, Amazon or Walmart GC, or direct deposit. Payments are now available daily with a 10% fee, or monthly with no fee. In addition, the site no longer gives random promo codes, and referral levels have changed to one referral level of 25%.

SwagBucks - No changes that I found. Still pretty active, it appears.

Traffic Wave Profits - I still have this on the Quick List but something appears to have gone wrong with the site for the past year or so, you can't get past the login page. Not sure what's up with this one.

Treasure Trooper - This has never been a favorite site of mine (it's in a lot of my active referral programs though), but some people just love it - but all that said, I'm not sure about the activity level there these days. No major changes with the program that I found.

Viral Pond - No major changes that I found, though programs within have changed over the years since it was established.

WordLinx - Fabulous as always, continues to be active with lots of ads daily. Other than the upgrade having gone up a little, which I reported a while back (and the upgrade is still SO worth it) - no giant changes that I found. They still do instant payments via PayPal, they were paying via Payza for a while and I think still can if for some reason you can't get PayPal payments, but last I read their Payza availability was somewhat limited.

So that's all that. There have been tons of changes with the various paid survey sites (and I've added some and quit some over the past few years), but far too many for me to get into right now.

Hi There! (And Site Updates, Part 1)

Well, after my long, long hiatus, I am back with one site that's 100% fully up to date and the other (this one you're reading right now) brought about 98% fully up to date.

Anyone that's still been dropping by probably noticed I've been keeping the Quick List pretty regularly updated (although the Proofs page was still way way behind, which has now been rectified), while this one here just got to be so behind and disorganized and I knew the housecleaning that needed desperately to be done was going to be such a huge major pain (and it was!!!), I just kept putting it off and putting it off.

Finally I managed to get some things done, and here we are! I've moved around some categories and gotten rid of some redundant ones, and just tried to fix some things up where it wouldn't be such a pain in the neck to post updates anymore. There are no doubt some broken links in really old posts and probably some in the last couple of years too, but that's super old stuff and sites that have closed (or have gone inactive or I'm not supporting anymore) have been shuffled off to their own category of closed sites anyway, so I'm not going to waste a lot of time messing with those old posts.

Sites that were listed here before that are still active and that I continue to support have had their respective entries updated (if there were updates), and since a lot of those I initially posted way back in 2008 or 2009 when I first started working them and was a newbie, one of my upcoming projects is to post 100% new static and more up to date entries on each and every one of them, eventually.

In any case, any sites that are still on the active lists are still active and most of them (pretty soon will be almost all) still paying me, several many times over, or have paid folks I know, or they have a longtime admin I'm familiar with and that has proven to be trustworthy over the years. Most though, now, I can verify without a doubt they're sites that pay 'cos they've paid me; some quite a good chunk of spare change over the years.

Pretty much all of them have stood the test of time here and have lasted me at least three or four years now and in some cases five years, so you can be fairly confident that if I'm still actively working them and getting paid after all these years (or haven't gotten fed up and given up, there's one or two of those that got shuffled off to the "closed" bin in this most recent update) - anyway, if I'm still getting paid, you likely can too!

About the only sector I haven't really brought up to date at all here yet (although I mostly have on the Quick List) are the Paid Survey sites, as there have been lots and lots of changes in that area over the last couple of years and I just haven't gotten around to sifting thru all that yet, but I will before too long.

Anyway, in a nutshell, the major updates overall here include:

• The Quick List has been pretty much 100% updated, as mentioned already;
• Active sites & sites I still support have had their entries updated (if there were any updates);
• Closed/dead sites have been recategorized as closed/inactive;
• Payment Proofs have been brought up to date (for the first time since late 2010, ha!).

Before this week is over, I'm hoping to post:

• A basic Cliffs Notes version summary of all the changes/updates I found on my active sites;
• (...including a basic summary of what sites I've kept active in general);
• A "new" GPT site recommendation (if you've been here long, you probably know which one!);
• A fresh, brand new Payment Proof for 2013! (lol)

(I figure I'm just going to start fresh with the payment proofs in 2013... the line entries have been kept updated on the Quick List pretty much, but there's no way I'm going to go back through all the way to the fall of 2010 and dig the individual proof pages up and do all the copying and uploading and all that junk. It was tedious and time consuming enough digging up what I already did for 2010-2013, ugh.)

So it's just going to be overall a new fresh start here in 2013. If you've stuck it out this long waiting and dropping by now and again while I was away, thanks so much for your patience, and if you're newer, I hope you'll stick around with me as I'm planning to keep this site more active again with at least a new post weekly, if not more often.

Hope things have been all good and well and happy in your world - mine's been pretty up and down the last few years but finally back to a more even keel and balance and things are actually pretty great these days - and I'll be back here again before the week is through! :)

She's Baaaaaack....

Wow, I know, right?! Only about a year and a half later, but yep, I'm back. Man, I have a LOT of catching up to do.

My humblest apologies for the long silence... between some really traumatic stuff and major upheaval in my personal life, a major move for the first time in 20+ years back to my hometown, and everything that went along with all of that (and trying to work at the same time while trying to get an entirely new household up and running)... AND a major computer crash last summer and having to re-situate all my Miss Money Hunter stuff and all my tons of other junk on a new machine... well, to be honest, the past week or so has really been the first time I've had a chance to really sit down and work on everything that revolves around my sites back up to date.

And let me tell ya... trying to play catch up when you're over a year and a half behind... UGH!

And at present, I still haven't really been able to fully update this site (the one you're on) - though I've updated a little info here and there - but there's an absolute ton I need to do (and get rid of/i.e., sweep away to the "closed/not active" pile) here yet to be done.

That said, here's what's what for the moment:

• My Quick List of Sites was actually fairly updated around this time last year (except for payment proofs, I never got that far last year), and is currently semi-updated again (except for payment proofs). I still have some more entries to modify or add info to, but for the most part, any programs I am still supporting/recommending/continuing to be active in are there on the Quick List, so you can check that out for now if ya want.
• I will be finishing updates on the Quick List shortly (except for payment proofs, they're a pain and will probably be last but I'll get to them before too long), and then do some MAJOR housecleaning here of posts/info.
• Eventually I'll catch up on posting payment proofs here up to date too, but that'll be after I get everything else cleaned up on both sites & I'll be posting them on the Proofs page of the Quick List first before posting them here.
  
• I'll be posting here, probably within the next few days, a pretty lengthy general update about what's changed where, what programs I'm still supporting, which ones I'm not and why, etc., so be on the lookout for that.

DealBarbiePays - Now With $10 Minimum Cashout

I don't really know how I missed this info or when it came about, but just wanted to make a quick note that minimum cashout at DealBarbiePays is now $10.

That's really great - I tend to avoid sites where cashout is over $10, so this was really good news for me. DBP's sister site, DealBarbiePaysFast, remains at a $1 minimum cashout by PayPal.

Rhino Riches Back Up - YouData Is Still Paying (Not Sure Why)

Just wanted to drop a quick note in regards to this post I made a couple of weeks ago, as Rhino Riches came back up shortly afterward and appears to be running as usual again. Reckon that's good news.

Also - YouData is still paying, though I'm not really sure why. I receive a one cent payment the first Friday in September, a two cent payment the following Friday, and nothing last week. I haven't really had time to check it out so I suspect these are residual payments from waiting clicks by my referrals since I've seen no new ads there in ages, but I don't really know. It's been all but dead since the end of April. If I find out the site appears to have truly come back to life again, I'll be sure to post.

LinkGrand - Yep, the Upgrade is Worth It!

I really had not had much of a chance to weigh in much about this other than to say it's a good deal, but I just wanted to write a little post and mention that the (fairly recently instituted) LinkGrand premium upgrade is totally worthwhile in my opinion, as well as just a good deal.

At $10 per year, it's a bargain - but even better at $20 lifetime (meaning you never have to pay again), it's a steal, totally. LinkGrand has been around for ages, is an established site with a long and good paying history - it's likely not going anywhere, so much like the other sites that offer a one-time "lifetime" upgrade option (MatrixMails, WordLinx), you really don't have to worry that it's going to up and disappear and will likely get way more mileage out of years with a lifetime upgrade than you would paying the yearly fee annually.

UPDATED 06/24/2012: As of sometime (I guess) this year, the lifetime upgrade at LinkGrand increased to $25. The other available upgrade options are $5 for four months or $12 for two years. The lifetime's still a good deal in my book (especially compared to some other sites' lifetime upgrades) - I really wouldn't want to downgrade my account at LinkGrand even if I could. I have way more ads available daily, my earnings have increased a great deal from what they were as a regular member, and I can withdraw much more often. Love it.

If you're going to go with one of the two options at LinkGrand, I'd just go for the lifetime and never have to think about it again.

With the premium upgrade at LinkGrand, you get:

• More links to view that aren't available to regular members
• Earn double cash on all premium links viewed
• Added to priority mailing list & get news/updates before regular members

All pretty good stuff. I think I would have preferred to see an increase in commissions for premium members as well - it's still 10% for referring advertisers and 30% for referral views for both free and premium members - but it's still a good upgrade deal, especially at the lifetime price. (And who knows, maybe they will institute increased commissions in the future.)

And I would have to say the amount of extra premium ads to view is pretty good and worth it. I don't think I have yet to see an entire 24-hour period since upgrading that I didn't have ten or twelve more ads to view on average that were for premium members to view only.

LinkGrand is still pretty below the other long-term established sites in the amount they pay per view - but to their credit, their advertising rates are about 50% or more lower than the other sites, so it all kinda works out.

And those clicks do add up, especially since they made a lot of big changes on the site late last year. It took me a long time to ever get to my first cashout, but ever since they revamped the site in 2009, I've been able to cash out about every two months on average - and since upgrading, it's looking like I may be able to look forward to cashing out every month or even less so far. So that's pretty cool too.

Rhino Riches Appears to Be Still Down - Or Gone?

Well, Rhino Riches appears to still be gone missing - or just gone, I don't know - so I just wanted to post a quick note and apologize for having a dead link in the top GPT sites on the Quick List, and dead link on here as well for what was one of my top paying and longest paying sites.

I'd asked around a bit in one of the forums as to whether anyone knew anything when I first discovered the site had expired (which often in the GPT/etc world just means the owner had forgotten to pay their server bill), and been told this had happened a few times this year and the site always came back up, and had been aware the owner had a lot of offline personal issues going on. So after what I was told, I decided to wait a little while longer.

But it's been a pretty good while now, so I think I'm going to wait another week or so and then probably remove it from the active list if nothing's changed by then - and really, with the unreliability there's been this year apparently, not feeling all that comfortable about leaving it on the active sites anyway even if it does pop back up.

Kind of sorry to see this happen as I've been promoting this one as a trustworthy and honest paying site, and at 2+ years, it's certainly an established site by now - or was - but after this long and with no word sent out, I would guess chances are good it's not coming back, and after this long down it's difficult for a site to get very active again even when it does come back up after an expiration or a long time otherwise "away".

If it doesn't return, I don't have much money in there - a dollar and some change in balance, and $10 or less in remaining advertising, I guess - as always, it concerns me about others who may have more to potentially lose, and I have to admit in this case I'm a little perturbed about the rather high "coins" (points) balance I had that I was hoping to be able to redeem before too long.

I guess we'll see. Unfortunately (as you already know if you've been doing this for long), this happens sometimes and sometimes the owners show back up and make things right, and unfortunately some of them have disappeared and never shown back up. My apologies to any of my referrals that have much balance in there, hoping for the best for any and all members affected, should this disappearance turn out not to have a good ending.

Things like this have certainly been at least partially a reason for why I don't spend a lot of time and effort these days on very many other sites besides the longtime, established and more "corporate" type sites such as MatrixMails, ClixSense, LinkGrand, WordLinx, AdPaid, Hits4Pay, Deals 'n' Cash, to name a few. Far too many of the privately owned, more "mom-and-pop" type GPT and PTC sites have just up and disappeared, sometimes never to return and with no word from the owner ever again, and every time it happens it hurts virtually everyone - members and other owners who are trying to do right.

Let's hope for the best in this case. I'll give it until about the middle of the month or so, but at that point it will have been weeks or even months, and I don't think there's any choice but to believe it's probably gone for good at that point.

Updates and Deletions, August 2010

Hello! I've been doing some minor maintenance this weekend and made some changes and deletions to the listed sites, both here and on the Quick List.

First, just some updates I noticed while going around to various sites and checking up on things...

Unless something's changed, DealBarbiePaysFast now offers instant payments by verified PayPal, but as there have been some problems with fraud and abuse since Barbara started offering instant payments, those wishing to do so will have to go through a verification process by the admin and be approved in order to be eligible for instant payments.

R U Ready 4 Money now offers daily PayPal-only cashout for upgraded members. The site also now offers check payment as another payment option, with a $0.50 fee.

I also noticed a change since I last looked over at Clickers-Union, which is now offering a minimum cashout of $0.85 by PayPal (AlertPay is still $1.01 minimum). There are no fees for either cashout option.

Now for the deletions... I have removed AdsForAll from both here and the Quick List as, when I made my recent rounds, I discovered my account had been deleted (presumably for inactivity). Well, if you've been here very long, you are probably well aware that I am highly against the 30-day deletion practice (thank goodness not many sites do this anymore). Deleting after 60 or 90 days? Eh, maybe... but according to my records, I last logged into the site on June 23rd, so it hasn't even been 60 days yet. In any case, this was a site I hadn't made much progress on balance-wise even though I'd been a member a pretty long time, so whatever.

I've also removed Clix 'n Cash from the listed sites after I discovered it is now forwarding to Incentria instead, so apparently it closed. At first I thought the Incentria owner must have bought it, but after sending in a support ticket I discovered this was not the case and apparently either the former CnC owner or someone that bought the domain is forwarding the old CnC domain to their Incentria referral link. Thus, it's been removed from the listed sites.

I thought the other day that YouData had finally dropped off the planet for good as I couldn't get the site to come up - it almost might as well have since it's done next to nothing since the end of April. But I'm keeping it on the list temporarily still (with a warning that the site may be closed/closing posted) and just waiting a little longer to see what happens. Pity, it was a good idea when it started.

On another note, one of my longtime favorites and top earners, Rhino Riches, appears to be down/suspended. I've asked around a bit and haven't heard anything yet and am hoping it's just a case of the server bill not having been paid or something and the site temporarily suspended, so not inclined to remove it from the list of active sites yet. I know the owner was having some stuff going on in offline life she was having to deal with. Anyway, here's hoping a temporary suspension is all it is.

My list of recommended sites seems to be getting smaller and smaller as time goes on - that's okay, I remain committed to trying to recommend only trustworthy and good quality sites that won't be a waste of your time. Granted, once in a while still one shocks me by doing something uncool, but most of the few left are longtime and established sites that have had a proven track record for years and aren't likely going anywhere.

On a final note, I do know there are still some good other general GPT sites out there that I'm just not a member of because I started limiting my number of active GPT sites some time ago, as paid to sign up offers were just something I no longer had time to do much of anymore. So just because a site's not here on the active list (especially if it's a general GPT site) doesn't mean I think it's bad or unworthy - I'm just not a member.

That said, this site and the Quick List will keep going indefinitely as long as the tried-and-true and trustworthy and established paying sites on the active list are still out there, and most of them aren't going anywhere (especially the PTRs and some of the PTC sites).

Okay - so I have some new payment proofs to post this week (two first-time-ever ones!) that I'm really excited about being able to post, so stay tuned for updates as the week progresses!

Quick List Updated & Some More Notes

Just a couple of quick notes for today...

I'm going to start posting payment proofs probably tomorrow (actually I'm typing them all in today and setting them to post one a day), as well as some leftover additional sites I haven't reported on and added to the mix before.

That said, I have fully updated the Quick List (including all payment proofs so far this year) so if you're really raring to get a head start and skip the day by day thing, it's all there already for now.

On another note, I have deleted Neobux and Charmed Ideas from both sites as they've apparently deleted my accounts in my recent not-all-that-long absence. In Neobux's case, this is the second time that's happened to me. I wasn't gone all that long this time from clicking altogether but their 30-day policy is pretty strict and I'm tired of fooling with it when there are plenty of other sites that don't delete me when I get busy for a few months, and when I'm back in the groove I make them plenty of money for their advertisers clicking - so I'm just not going to mess with it again.

Neobux is a good site (and indeed paid me this year) and has certainly stood the test of time - especially coming out in a time when the PTC world was overly covered in scams and probably no one thought it would last at first - but it has, and they pay. I'm just too busy these days to fool with their strict adherence policy anymore. Well, here I am two months later, oops. It's just been a busy busy spring and early summer but I'm about ready to get back on track here with daily or near-daily posting. First - some big news!

Probably the biggest news of all is that ClixSense just announced this week they are now paying via AlertPay. This is GREAT news - for one thing, it eliminates the huge chunk taken out of check payments from when they previously paid by check only. The fee to get paid by AlertPay is only 50 cents per payment, whereas it costs $3 of your hard-earned ClixSense balance to receive a check payment. So this is super good news!

And here's some more good news - LinkGrand now has a premium member option somewhat similar to that of ClixSense and the other old standbys. Catching Up On News & Payment Proofs

Hi! And sorry I've been gone a while again. It has been a busy busy 2010 thus far, but I finally got a little more caught up in other areas so decided this was a good time to catch up and hopefully start posting regularly here again.

I have got a lot of news to post about that I've been gathering for a couple of months now, some of which may have changed since the time I took note of it but hopefully not too much. I've also got a whole bunch of 2010 payment proofs to post and maybe a few leftover from late in 2009 too (lol). Upcoming will be some first-time-ever payments from a couple of sites that I've been working on two or three years but have never paid me before, so that's always really exciting for me to be able to report a first-time payment like that.

So those will be upcoming as well as some site reviews of sites I've been a member of for ages but had never posted about (some of which are already on the Quick List of sites). I had written most of those posts late last summer and a couple of them have disappeared since then, I've discovered, but for the most part they're still there and up and running and paying, so when I get caught up on news and payment proofs, I'll get those posted soon after.

For now, the news since I last posted... and again, some things may have changed since I made a note about it (feel free to leave a comment if you know of any) but for the most part I think this is mostly up to date (and I will, of course, be making any appropriate changes and updates to previous posts here and on the Quick List shortly).

• Probably the biggest news of all I found was that Barbara Norris has purchased the DealBarbie network of sites (DealBarbiePays and DealBarbiePaysFast). Barbara is the longtime owner of AnythingFree4You, has been around a long time and always been one of the more active owners in the industry, and just glancing at the sites I can see she has really amped up the activity level at both sites and moved them in a positive direction, so that's great to see. I know the sites will be in good hands with Barbara.
• Closed sites since I last posted: BankRollBucks (sigh), Cash Mattress, Fishing4Fortune, MommySweeps PTC
• Becky of Fire House Offers and Solar Rewardz recently bought Big Beach Bucks, which has now changed to Net 35 payments and now paying by verified PayPal, various gift cards, and money order ($1 fee for money order payments).
• DealBarbiePaysFast is now open to members in Canada.
• DealBarbiePays changed terms (back to, I think) Net 35 and now pays by check, PayPal, AlertPay, Revolution Money Exchange, direct deposit, and Wal-Mart and Amazon gift cards/certificates.
• GPTCashCow (which just paid me today, matter of fact, thanks Reagan!) changed payment terms back to Net 30.
• R U Ready 4 Money lowered payout minimum to $5 via PayPal. (I see I have that noted on the Quick List so maybe I reported that before, but anyway, lol.)
  
• YeeHawClickin switched from daily to weekly (Friday) payments.
• DollarClickOrSignup changed to Net 30 payments and is now open only to members in these countries: US, UK, Canada, Australia.
• ClickOrSignup became open to members in Australia as of March.
• CravingCash now pays out at a minimum $10 by PayPal and check.
• PaidTheFastest lowered minimum payout by PayPal to $1.
• TikiTreasure lowered minimum cashout from $15 to $10.
• Clix N' Cash lowered minimum payout to 50 cents (25 cents for upgraded members).
• MatrixMails announced in February they would be starting instant payments by PayPal soon, but apparently that hasn't gone into effect yet.
• SmileyFreebies4You added an activity bonus, jackpot, and referral earnings (one level) are now 100%.

And in one more piece of absolutely brand new news, I logged into NeoBux and was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have done a complete remodeling of the site - it looks totally different - in the wake of their 3rd birthday! It looks really great and they have changed banners and everything. I have to applaud NeoBux, they came out at a time when things were super bad in PTC with scammy sites opening and closing left and right, and "bux" sites in general took on a really bad name because of it all and I was wary in the beginning, but NeoBux has certainly stood the test of time and been paying people over and over again for literally years now - including, recently me - so that's fabulous and I'm happy to support it as an honest and paying site, here during their third birthday celebration.

AdsForAll Changes To $5 Minimum

Thanks to Jessica's blog, I learned that AdsForAll has now changed to a $5 minimum cashout. Apparently the site also changed to daily payments at some point I'm guessing relatively recently.
